JayXC comprises four applications working together to unlock contextual bonus content, information, ecommerce, and in-stream advertising. These applications include Curator, Layer, Checkout and Insights.
Working together, they are designed to drive viewer engagement, revenue development and audience insights for our partners.
Jay Layer is our white-label user interface, where viewers interact with in-stream bonus content, contextual information and shopping features.
It is the surface through which users can explore their favourite shows and shop for products they see on screen, without leaving the streaming app.

The Jay Layer application is a versatile content layer, accessed by viewers within the streaming media player. It can feature a bespoke selection of content reflecting the specific needs of our streaming partners, tailored for all categories including drama, live sport, lifestyle, documentary, reality or news.
This includes the ability to shop the look of cast members, as well as accessing bonus editorial video content, show trivia, cast biographies, sports team histories, player profiles, music details, fact-checking information, recipes and more.
In addition, it provides new real estate for incremental advertising inventory, enabling commercial teams to increase the total potential advertising value across streaming platforms.
Jay Layer provides our partners with the ability to offer their viewers an enhanced streaming experience that is simple to integrate with existing platforms. It can be fully partner-branded, offering a seamless user experience for viewers within the streaming app.
